CYTOS^® Pilot System is the device, which makes the slogan "from the first 20 mg to 100 Kg with the same technology" come true. Designed for a maximum output of 20 tons a year, the highest value of the device is developed by production of several drug candidates in 100 kg quantities within one or two weeks. The CYTOS^® Pilot System is 10-times external parallelised but has the identical fluidic behaviour as the CYTOS^® Lab System, so that every reaction performed successfully in a Lab system can be manufactured in CYTOS^® Pilot System. To assure a constant product quality, continuously operated systems offer the possibility to integrate real-time in-line analytical methods and usage of the analytical results for controlling the quality. The CYTOS^® Pilot System is designed for supervising not only the total product stream but also each individual microreactor-line by in-line analytical methods. Currently, CPC is building a CYTOS^® Pilot System with the following – customer chosen – features:

• Two-step system
• Stainless steel
• temperature range from -40 °C to +180 °C
• NIR for single line analytics
• Raman for total product steam analytics.

-Identical fluidics as CYTOS^® Lab System.
-Same microreactor as CYTOS^® Lab System.
-Integration of In-line analytics possible.
-Applicable to multi step synthesis.
-Stainless steel and Hastelloy available.
-Constructed for operation in pilot plant environment.
-Control via industrial PLC.
